My favorite thing at my other grandparents' house was this coffee table they had. My sisters, cousins and I always used to climb through like a train.

Thanks Jesse! I've always loved this one in my collection :) Thanks for stopping by!Brittany | the Home Groundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12102284763530010289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3036741495719393232.post-81807367358708527182010-09-13T06:19:42.840-04:002010-09-13T06:19:42.840-04:00Gorgeous photo!Gorgeous photo!Jessehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11717380172065558469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3036741495719393232.post-38316009520066073442010-09-11T15:24:28.995-04:002010-09-11T15:24:28.995-04:00I know, this suburb looks very similar to the one ...I know, this suburb looks very similar to the one that my fiance grew up in. And there are, indeed, trees on his block.

I'd love to find some from the 60s and 70s! I'll be happy to post them, too :)Brittany | the Home Groundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12102284763530010289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3036741495719393232.post-22366565233436058402010-09-11T14:50:33.407-04:002010-09-11T14:50:33.407-04:00My grandma's apartment had a great kitchen tab...My grandma's apartment had a great kitchen table with a drawer on the side with a crystal knob, that I used to think was a huge diamond. She also kept my mother's room as it had been, so there were interesting knick knacks there. My favorite thing, though, was canisters she had of old coins and of buttons. She let me play with them and I spent hours doing that.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02362687820368214420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3036741495719393232.post-27419587881528495382010-09-10T23:18:12.371-04:002010-09-10T23:18:12.371-04:00That is just fabulous! 1955 doesn't seem that ...That is just fabulous! 1955 doesn't seem that long ago when you see a photo like this (although I'll bet there are trees on that block now).

If you have any photos of her in the 60s & 70s, can we see those, too?

When I look at this, it's hard to believe she's already gone.Carlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06934072072000517683noreply@blogger.com
