Kind of a Big Deal

OK, I've not been posting because it's my 100th post. I've been agonizing over it. I will be hosting a giveaway, but it's kind of going to be like a birthday party that's not on your birthday. It'll be a 100th post giveaway that's not on the 100th post. Just to take some pressure off. And, I keep wanting to blog but haven't! I know this much: I'm giving someone super lucky a set of three seed packets of their choosing. Maybe a pair of earrings. First, I have to make more seed packets (I have the final pattern and everything and know how to sew now. So, something to look forward to this week. Yay!

Also, I've made some jewelry this weekend (only a couple, but it's a breakthrough). I feel like I have kind of a series of necklaces in my head. Brass is the main metal and their long chain with little clusters of things. Charms and beads and the like. I'm excited about my materials and my color palette. I listed this one on Etsy today!

Tomorrow, I may unveil my other breakthrough idea! I need to do a bit of research and other preparing... I think this is a pretty decent 100th post. Yes? Maybe? At least it shows a bit of progress.

Just to think, I didn't know most of you just a few months ago. Blogging and Flickr have opened up a whole community for me, and I'm grateful for all of you every day. Thanks!

I absolutely love that brass necklace...it's beautiful. It has a bit of a medieval feel to it and I love that, yet it is simple and modern. It's a winner for sure. Tee hee, I just looked at the verification word and its 'roses'.

Thank you, thank you! I'm really excited about this direction in my jewelry. I have another series in my head about femininity.

Roses! Usually, it's a random combination or a bastardization of a word. A real word!

Congrats on your 100th post! I always thought the giving of presents on these days by bloggers was strange...sweet, but strange. I want people to give ME things on special days. :)

I guess it is kind of silly. But, I think for those of us who make and sell things, it's kind of a promotional thing as well. Besides, what would be the point of blogging if no one read your blog?

I would like some presents! I think I'll demand baked goods. It's snowing here today!

Thanks Michelle! I've been amazed at the community I've fallen into through blogging and Flickr. When I tell people that I blog and everything, they just don't get it. Haha!
