while i was away

the smocking pleater.

the results of the smocking pleater. before bleaching.

most of my shibori pieces so far. these will be assembled into my final piece for shibori. i think i'll like it :)

my sweet pea forest. similar in appearance to bamboo. almost.

this was the biggest nasturtium on Wednesday.

this is all of the nasturtiums today (Friday). yeah. they're almost rivaling the sweet peas in vigor.

And I will probably continue to be mostly away for the next week or two. Just too much to do. I have to finish everything pretty much this weekend. And next week I will be preparing for my faculty review.

But, I have been alive and doing things. Between school and my little green babies, I've been busier than I would like. Only two more weeks! Yay!

And it's supposed to be 80 and sunny here today! I'm going to Ikea with Chelsea and Grace, then we're getting ice cream. Then, I'm coming back home to do more homework.

Hope you're having a super awesome Friday!

Looking wonderful. You're one of the most industrious people I know {well, I guess I don't actually "know" you, but you know what I mean}. Happy weekend, Brittany!

Hi Helen! Haha, I've never been called industrious before, and I am very flattered :) The seeds are really growing themselves. Though, my homework isn't making itself. That would be nice right now... I hope you have a great weekend!!

Wow, the last time I grew seeds were when I was 10!!

You should do it again! It's so much fun to watch them grow. When they're that small, you can really see them grow every day. Pretty cool :)
