.arashi.

this has to be one of my favorite patterns so far this year. i really love it. and i don't often say that about stuff that i make/design. i can see this as a linen table runner on a beautiful antique farm dining table. or as a border on gorgeous linen bedding.

where do you see it?
do you like it?

Very nice, I know you love this blue but I would love to see it in some other tones or colors, or mixed. Like browns would be so great :) Great pattern, what was the inspiration?

This is actually a scan of one of my first shibori samples from last year. It's just a sliver, then I've repeated that out. And it was dyed in the indigo vat, so that's why the color. You're so right, brown would be amazing. I'll do it tomorrow! Also, I think a very vibrant olive green (almost an oxymoron) would be good...

I love it, too! covering a big down-filled pillow on a white linen couch...mmmmm.

Yes, pillow! I feel like I really should make this one... We'll see. I'm glad you like it, Carlene!

It's gorgeous, Britt. The blue lends itself perfectly for a big old barn wood table. I can definitely see it running right down the middle. Ohhh, and an olive would be lovely too.
