The Scanner is my Friend plus Etsy

Hooray! My first complete inkjet sample for my seed packet project. I'm not sure about the background color. Too dark? Good contrast? I also liked the colors without a background in my previous post. Hmmmmm. I want to do a few editions in different color schemes, so maybe I'll just do them all! I'm really happy with my pattern. The printer printed it too dull, though. I need to work on my color profiling. I know what my next test will be, so that helps. What do you think?

I gathered some maple leaves today, all from the same tree. I love that it's a gradual process to change color, and you can see the whole process laid out before you. I wish real life was like that. You could see where you were and where you were going all at once!

And, some Etsy things I've faved lately! Have a look and enjoy.
Clockwise from top left: awesome softy sheep from Mogwaii; beautiful Pderadactyl necklace from Neawear; Upcycled Mini Book from EveryJotAndTitle; Embroidered Earrings from NectarJewelry; creepy "Hand"soap from Foliage.

Enjoy and have a great Sunday night/Monday morning!

I thought of it as a place for you to record Grace's growth and such, but who says that wouldn't go in it, too?

I like the darker background on your seed packet too. Nice job!

That maple leaf photo is terrific.

Like your Etsy finds. Those hand soaps have always freaked me out a little though. :D

Look like I'll be keeping the rust background!

The maples are actually a scan. I don't have a camera right now! Haha.

I'm going to give one of my friends one of the hand soaps! She'll love it. She's kind of a creep. I'll make sure I don't send you one, though :)
